One of my newly matured fancy roaches, have a small colony with an unknown number of specimens. Started with one female which had at least 3 lots of babies resulting in a veritable shite load of the fancy wee beasts. If anyone else has experience with these it would be nice to compare notes.
@Rodge@Patherophis Actually this is not Oxyhaloa buprestoides, but Eustegasta buprestoides, pictures of this species have been misidentified all over the internet, O.buprestoides is a lot different looking.
I searched for photos of these last year but turned up nothing except a victorian naturalist's watercolour illustration. Kicking myself that they were right here under my nose! They look fantastic, the colours are excellent.
