@Ztesch cant really say for sure. I bought him from a local pet shop, so no previous records. Got him on june 14th, and he dug and plugged his burrow on August 25th. So, at least a little more than a month. His feeding was weird from the day i got him, and that couldve been premolt behavior. Theres no way to know. I'll be recording this one, though.
So after he plugged his burrow did you try to feed him at all? I haven't seen mine in awhile so lifted the hide and tried to tong feed him a cricket. Of course he didnt take it I just wanted to make sure.
@Ztesch the way he plugged it, feeding was impossible without disturbing him. Generally, if a tarantula plugs a burrow, they dont want anything from anyone other than being left alone. Mine just happened to burrow right against the wall of the enclosure, so i can see everything he isnt doing.
