It's in heavy premolt ATM, I'd wait until it molts and post another picture. At that point its colors should be most prominent and therefor easier to identify, but off hand it doesn't appear to be a rosea.
Is it possible to tell if this is what is advertised? The seller is being kinda stupid and I don't want to end up with a t that isn't what it's advertised as?
@Arachnophoric
It does look kind of strange tbh. I might pass even though I am looking for a "rosehair". It's hard to know what it is as the carapace doesn't have the normal pink color. But that could also be premolt.
Just wanted to make sure that it isnt some t that I would feel over my head with. I don't have much experience with Grammastola outside of pulchra / pulchripes
For example : saw what was advertised as a giant seemani that I am sure was a Lasiodora striatipes. One of the biggest Ts I have ever seen! Don't want a situation like that on my hands due to misidentification
@Brachyfan That wont happen here. If it molts and you find its something else, you would have just acquired whats probably an even more desirable Grammostola species...lol. No danger with this one
Giant seemani...lol, see on that one you knew it was a crapshoot with that wildly made up name.
