It's possible that the spermathecae are hidden under what looks like a fold between the first set of booklungs, but I'm going with male based on this picture
@PidderPeets Drats. But I guess that would explain why it’s growing so fast...it was a 1/2 sling in October and this moot that just happened yesterday is 2.5 inches...
@Adelaide The sex does not always indicate how fast it will grow. Sex indicates the expected longevity of a tarantula. I have had females that are a few molt cycles ahead of the males (sac mates).
