A flip top Better Homes & Gardens container from Walmart. I use these for my juvie arboreals.
Cluttered up low through up high on both sides of wood I have found for Psalmopoeus spp. helps them feel more hidden and be out more. So far since this P. irminia rehouse it is out a lot.
Walmart container find!! I really like them they are a great size up from sling container size and I think something like $7-9. I will be using this same size for my larger juvie avics too.
Oh the lid was next to it, I had literally just finished setting it up, the Psalmopoeus irminia hadnt gone into it yet, at least I dont believe......

They lock securely, they are a little bit large and are not super slick to remove, and you have to be gentle unlocking them to not complyely disturb them

thanks for this. Yikes, they are like vacuum it seems. I had a feeling the lid would be an issue. I either see nice boxes like this and the lid is too tight sort, OR the opposite, the lid is too loose. I'll check it out, but I feel the search continues for something that isn't so pricey like those acrylics the vendors sell. A small glass EU cube should be perfect here.

They. really dont bother me, and yes they are initially intended to be vacuum sealed as they are food containers.
I really think these ones aren’t so bad, and I’ve come to get used to it and not be bothered by the sealing mechanism. I like you have searched for the perfect affordable 2-4in juvie container and this has been the closest I have come to that and it’s under $10 which for me is a fair trade off.
I have seen the ones I think your talking about at TCS ans they were like push button seals and the kids were at least 2inches maybe closer to 3in thick.
