Psalmopoeus cambridgei Juvenile - 3"
My favourite species in the genus. I hope that this one doesn't end up being a defensive individual. My pulcher female has been really good so far, so I decided to take the plunge and get the species I really wanted.
@Ungoliant I did see that and thank you for posting it. That is why I try to post as many of mine as I can and then make a comment on them when they are moult confirmed. That is also why I always specify the size, so that people can use them for comparison. I use this gallery all the time to compare to, before I post my own photo.
I had your phots up, comparing them to mine, for a long time last night and they do look very similar. I swore that I saw a lip on mine, but I am just going to have to wait for a moult. Hopefully, I can get to it before it is ruined. I shouldn't have to wait that long with this species.
I was told it was a suspect female, but I never put any value on 'suspect'. As far as I'm concerned, 'suspect' of either sex means unsexed.

@VanessaS When I look at the ventral shot I posted in the sexing gallery, it's actually less obviously female than the snapshot I took of her feeding on a dubia roach, where you can see that pronounced lip and raised area better.

@Ungoliant I saw both, but your girl is a lot larger than this one is in the 2nd photo. I have just taken a shot in the same position and I am going to post it. If you and @cold blood can take another look, please?
