well aint she pretty and seems to be a great webber, im excited for my sling to turn up from pre order in 15 days or so not that im counting them down...
she looks like a she, only the males get the blue/white coloration. males look slimmer and have white/creme hair on their femurs while females have dark brown and short hair. i guess the color is a consolation prize:/
also i know its off topic but artemis has constructed what looks like an ant hill for the entrance to her burrow, its about 5-6 cm tall and 2.5 wide. is this normal/what would cause her to do this?
@Ftang5 dirt mounds are an unexplainable and enjoyable perk for us hobbyists lol.
I have seen photos of blue females before, I can't remember who but one member on here has a nearly completely blue Phlogius sp that is literally named "Blue". Males get the attractive patterning in addition, but if you are lucky you can get blue legged females
depends on how blue the spider is but it could be a color morph of strenuus as they get nice steely blue on them if you are lucky/ post molt (picture):
