post molt size difference

When I went in to retrieve the exuvia my A. genic was kind enough to emerge from her hide and stretch out. I'm still shocked by how much she's grown.
that's so exciting! my A. genic's bald patch looks dark in colour to the eye. When I shine a light on it looks like this though: http://imgur.com/a/eZopt - will it be very black before a molt? thanks

@jemc I think you're genic has a bit to go :) When they're close their abdomens look like a black marble under a flashlight.

Amazing how much they can pack in to their exoskeleton, my P. Metallica almost doubled in size during its last moult, from 2"-3.5", astonishing.

@mconnachan yeah, T is refusing food - was avid eater before, but now it reacts to prey items by either running away, or pushing the mealworm away with its front legs!
However, abdo is beige/brown at the moment..

"Oh hi there, I'm huge suddenly, so where's my new enclosure!?" :bucktooth:
- Every A. geniculata a few times in her life.
