Polistes fuscatus

My oldest female and her daughter that was raised at room temperature and ended up being almost solid black
@mossloft I keep my wasps in an upside down tank and glue cardboard to the top in the corner for them to nest under. I give the adults sugar water and waxworms or flies to feed to the larvae, I don't use crickets for them anymore though. They'll also need to have a water bowl for them to drink out of when they're nesting. It depends on the species but that works for most polistes wasps!

@mossloft Most of mine will use pieces of cardboard, with that I have to change it with a new kind of cardboard every few days or they'll stop using it! My P. metricus were the pickiest with nest materials and only used old wood pieces if they were wet
