Depending on the size (~2.5" and up), P. ornata are very sexually dimorphic and can be reliably sexed from a dorsal image. I wouldn't be confident trying to sex with this image, post a dorsal shot if you can.
@MirzaMicha Potentially, wouldn't hurt to try. A female will have very darkly defined/contrasting patterning on the carapace and abdomen, while males take on a much more uniformly drab green coloration and progressively lose their patterning as they grow in size.
