Please help Id this T pic 2

Hi all, posting this on behalf of a friend..
Haven't got a clue what it could be,, Any ideas would be great.
my judgements are pretty accurate and bulgaria is a bad country. it is opinion based and people contradict with manners, so learn some slav. and the phormictopus "uncommon green variant" is probably a P platus so say so smart one. a G grossa is also a good judgement and i think the specimen above fits it pretty well. use your google tool slav, and look up G grossa and come back to me when you learn some manners

There is absolutely no way that this is a G. grossa. I agree with Anastasia. It is definately a Phormictopus species. Oh and michaelcb, I think you need to take your own advice and use your google toolbar. This looks nothing at all like a G. grossa. If you don't know, don't post. :embarrassed:

Flaming and calling another board member names is NEVER ok, and ethnic slurs are unaccpetable.

good for you, i already said that if it was Phormictopus sp. it would be platus. Bulgaria being a bad country is a fact so i am not being racist. I gave my alternative so do not patronize me. it is never 100% possible to perfectly ID a tarantula based on a photo. i am at least smart enough to give names and not use sp.. i have nothing against you but that slav is a rude one. Bulgaria is elected as one of the WORST countries in the EU so i do not make "ethnic slurs" without getting my facts straight.

I'm no expert at all, but I do agree based on the photos. Colour is similar but the structure and feel look like Phormictopus-ish

And this post is an excuse for me to say what a beautiful T you have there

This is a forum for ARACHNIDS, not personal agendas and feelings. Would somebody please get rid of this guy?

Bottom line: Most probably phormictopus based on carapace shape and certainly not grammastola again based on carapace shape! Awesome looking t! grats! :)
