My enclosures are pretty standard and with my camera and lighting, taking pics while they're still in their enclosures is often times out of the question. Even when it's possible, I find the almost unavoidable plastic or glass (clean or dirty) very unappealing. It's fine when taking pics on a phone potato, those are of low quality anyways but with a decent camera and equipment it's not worth the time & effort it takes to set up.
