Phlogius Sp Eunice

Female was not ready to pair last night.
Male was drumming in the air for about 2 mins and she was about to charge at him but luckily I got my catch cup ready.
Will attempt again in about a weeks-10 days time.
Leave the tanks next to each other during that time and she'll feel him drumming through the walls
It’s strange because he’s never drummed (I look at them a lot now because we’re in iso:rofl:) when I put him beside her tank and even so when I put him in hers for 15 mins. Only did so when I brushed him lightly with a brush. Could this process take hours?

I missed this comment and this information is probably redundant since the pairing went successfully since this post, but yes, it can. The time can differ WILDLY between mygalomorphae. Ive had T's take 15 minutes, trapdoors take 5 minutes, and the longest of all was my Australothele Nambucca where for 3 weeks straight of sleepless nights, the male would only begin drumming after 5 HOURS! Usually for T's though the process is fairly quick, but even if it takes a while its always good to stay and watch at all times. Made that mistake with my little A.Nambucca and lost him because of my carelessness

All good! Thanks for sharing and adding to my knowledge. 5 HOURS?! Far out! Aww, I’m sorry to hear that but don’t worry. At least you know that now!
