Tox, I THINK you have a male. But I can't tell w/out actually seeing it in person. Males will usually have a "dot" by the anterior book lungs. Sometimes it appears to be a part of the exoskeleton that sticks further out than the surrounding area, sort of like a pimple. Seems like my job is to make sexing hard! I'm getting a better lens for pictures and sexing the real young ones (like this one) Then I also got another P. metallica, but she's half the size of my other one, so it'll be a few months before I can sex her.
@gottarantulas I'm known for making it tough to sex spiders it seems. This dude's tiny, so I'll wait till I get my macro lens before I try to sex again.
