P.subfusca lowland 4'' m/f ?

Freshly molted 4 inch specimen .. can't figure it out if she or he ..
haha still can't figure it out :D I'm thinking male , not sure if it's just me but I can't see the spermathcae .. but .. damn it looks so girlish (ventral) .. :p

I'm strongly leaning towards female. On the molt I see a figure that resembles spermathecae. Don't know if it's lighting throwing me off or what. But the ventral picture also supports my opinion. I really think it's a female.... :/

It's a girl. Not to be mean but if you can't see it in that first picture you might want to get your eyes checked. Lol

lol well in all fairness master he edited the photo and on my phone i had to zoom in as did look boy as a tiny 1/2"x1/2" pic..and seeing as i dont keep poec so i dont know how to dorsal sex them and ventals are hard on a poec for me... if this was 3 individual pictures posted, i woulda seen the spermathcae without issue, however it being a smaller pic i needed to zoom ^_^

Mako, do me a favor. Get the molt like it was in the first picture. Get something thin, yet firm, and see if you can lift that "half U" that may be the spermatheca. IMO, its a male. I think what Pokie Master is seeing, is only part of the skin, the dent that you see in juvenile and subadult Poecilotheria's, not the spermatheca. And again, IMO, that is NOT the spermatheca.. Only way you will find out, is if you lift it, like in this picture:

Ok so here's the thing ...

This is the same enlarged pic from yesterday .. I was unsure because of that half U .. I've seen this in a lot male cases , and yesterday it looked much more transparent then today.. and I didn't even tried to lift up that half U

But I did tried today .. and yes I could lift it up , and it's much more visible today. Damn..
