Male, the patterning/coloration says it all. There's a really good thread on P. ornata and their visual dimorphism.

At this size his next molt is probably gonna be his last. Huh

@obie If you're lucky, it'll be penultimate rather than ultimate. I feel your pain, I'm in the same boat with my regalis. He's my first Poeci.
