P. Ornata
Wellenough came out to say, feed me before I molt. Ate 4 crickets, this was 3 days ago. The next pic is from this morning. Definitely pre molt though, and blends in with the cork bark for the moment :'D
@KezyGLA and @cold blood thank you for the info! :D So in addition to size, the males change in appearance over a series of molts as they reach maturity? My understanding is that some species of tarantula have such clues while others often surprise their keepers when they hook out!

@cold blood that P. ornate female is lovely! Beautiful hints of green! :happy:
 
@ErinM31 No the difference is pretty apparent from about 2", which isn't many molts for a young ornata.

Usually with most species, the dimorphism only really presents its self upon the ultimate molt....although there's obviously exceptions, like this species.
