Looking at the dot and the distance between the second booklungs, this looks very male to me. If the seller hasnt gotten rid of it by the time it molts, Ill check the molt.
I see a vent opening, the slit doesn't look connected, and nice white lips, this indicates female.. I see no dot however, and when it comes to distance between the anterior booklungs, that all depends on species, I know in psalmos and pokies there is little to almost no difference in space between the anterior booklungs between different genders, just my opinion, I'm still learning though... hopefully Austin can chime in soon.
Maybe post a thread on this one stating you want to buy it if it's female.. and post the pictures just you want more opinions, I have done this before and got a lot of feedback.. I think P. Mets posses sexual dimorphism at an early stage (not sure), maybe post pics of the specimen itself to the thread also might probably help
Hopefully that one molts before the owner sells it, good luck man.
I'm leaning hard towards male on this. I think the lips you're referring to lalb, is maybe just the flash? This specimen looks to be around 4" probably, I'm thinking its next molt will be mature, thus why the male parts are more prominent to me than other metallica pictures.
Wait wait. From the help of a good friend, and the more I study what he sent me (this picture) I think female is what you have. Told you, don't guarantee my opinion when it comes to Poecilotheria's lol This is male
If it is indeed female, then I'm really getting good at this, lol! I just need to practise the psalmos.. for the life of me I can't even sex my own *facepalm*..
