I've read through everything so far, and while I fully understand what everyone is trying to say I think we just gotta agree to disagree. If the image is really such a bad example for other users, can't it just be removed? I reckon everyone has projected valid points at each other, but after 3 pages everyone is still arguing. The fact is, he likes to hold his T's for short periods of time and seems like a fairly responsible owner. Everyone has given him plenty of food for thought. I didn't even get this much lecturing when I held my old world while transferring to another enclosure. In conclusion, if something goes wrong for either him or the T, he will learn from it and like Nightstalker said remember what the angry blokes on AB said. I think we should leave it at this
(I apologize if this came out as being rude or challenging etc I just literally had like 25 notifs. from this post)
@AgnO In 18 years I have yet to intentionally handle any tarantula. I honestly don't understand why someone would want to (JMO)...I think of them like fish...for decades I kept many aquariums, yet never pulled out a fish to handle either...and ironically, there s really far less risk in handling a fish.
Thanks for understanding where we are coming from...its really nothing personal, so don't take it as such

Its not going to be removed as its not illegal or against forum rules, and on top of that, there has been an educational discussion that followed...it may seem like lecturing, but that's the nature of posts, they come off like that even if not meant to be.
How are the tarantulas? I ask because the natural reaction to getting bitten by something on your hand is to fling it away, and that's a bad scenario for the T.

They r alive and well, I didn't fling either of them because when they bit they were not on my hand but instead charged at my hand and tagged me then immediately retreated
