P. fasciata

Trying this once again. Poecilotheria fasciata approximately 6in DLS
@TheSanguineSaint :dead: this one especially it seems. I posted 2 photos and so far I have heard male on this and female on the other  Guess I'm going to have to watch him/her very close for a while and pull exuvia before it gets mangled again. Thank you for your input!

Aww I hate that...I read somewhere that if you kick up the moisture a little as soon as you notice them go into pre-moult(which is hard with some) and make sure that there is always clean water that it decreases that they will macerate the moult. After all that is why they chew the moult up is to get moisture from it. Maybe that will save the molt being destroyed. I know what you feel! I have spent waaay too many hours with toothpicks trying to put a moult back together like a puzzle. LOL I'll keep my fingers crossed for you hehe

@TheSanguineSaint I read that too, but I always keep humidity up in the enclosure anyway. I don't monitor it since most hygrometers are just guessing, but I re-wet the coco fibre every 3 days or when it starts looking dry. I think this one enjoys tormenting me with this guessing game  Aside from that I couldn't ask for a better Pokie though. Calmly walks to the hide so I can spot clean and such. Never anything resembling defensiveness.
Thanks again!
