Actually, this species of Malay Peninsula distinguished from genus 'Cyriopagopus' of mainland of Southeast Asia and China by having divided spermatheca and almost 10 stridulating setae.
Also, the features show this species have close relationship with 'Haplopelma doriae group' of Borneo.
