Nephilengys malabarensis

Nephilengys malabarensis

I'm like 99% sure of it.
Two years later, I went back to the location I took this photo of a HUGE specimen in situ. Everything is gone. The funnel web grass spiders, the tent web spiders, all are gone. It looks like the management of the property cleaned up the whole place. Though I managed to find this little guy in a corner of a wall somewhere. I'm sure there exists thousands of these spiders in the jungle but I can't help but feel disappointed.
