Velvet mite enclosure. I actually really like these mites. Have no clue what they eat, but they have springtails in with them should they decide on a live prey item. Kept on some locally foraged moss. These will only be short term captives observed for a few days.
I've always thought they were cute. A few people have kept the "Giant" ones but I have only seen them offered once and could find little to no info on keeping them.
@velvetunderground i take interest in the larger Indian varieties also! Unfortunately they seem to be quite commonly collected and used for medical reasons but not readily available in the pet trade. Would love to get my hands on some.
