Missulena occatoria mature male
One of the most iconic and widespread spiders in Australia, ironically also one of the hardest for hobbyists to source and nobody knows why
First thing I thought was, my god, look at the chelicerae....then I paused and thought, look at those emboli....very dramatic spider in every way.

Pretty safe to assume the species doesn't even bite? hehe

Oh they'll bite alright 😂 and they are deadly, but interestingly they almost never use venom in defence. In fact, I don't think this species has ever been attributed to deaths in Australia
