First thing I thought was, my god, look at the chelicerae....then I paused and thought, look at those emboli....very dramatic spider in every way.

Pretty safe to assume the species doesn't even bite? hehe

Oh they'll bite alright and they are deadly, but interestingly they almost never use venom in defence. In fact, I don't think this species has ever been attributed to deaths in Australia
