MF M. Balfouri feasting

She finally decided to try a dubia, she would only eat crickets for the longest time ;-;! Such a sassy girl
@Venom1080 Thank you :)! She's just about 2 years atm so hopefully she can be with me for the next decade and a half or so, hmm do you happen to know whether or not old worlds have a lesser lifespan versus new worlds, or is it species specific? I can't recall what Amanda at @tarcan said as I asked for a lot of advice when I first got her as a juvie

@Ciri i believe the slower it grows, generally the longer the lifespan. generally OW Ts grow faster so they usually do have a shorter lifespan.

@Venom1080 Ah, I appreciate this information! I make sure to attempt a feeding once a week, but she seems content with every other week and she skipped food for about 45 days when she was last in pre-molt. It amazes me how even after not eating for so long, her opisthosoma remained the same size from what I could tell (maybe she was drinking water?). Thank you <^-^>

@Venom1080 Oh wow, this is precisely why I love arachnoboards thank you I wasn't aware that I may have been needlessly overdoing it with feeding attempts ! You have my gratitude :3!

@Ciri no problem! once a week is ok, just not necessary. terrestrial Ts put on weight very fast and dont lose much when they molt, a obese spider could injure itself badly from a fall.
