M robustum

One of the two new additions from today's expo :)
So how do you take care of this one? I have been searching for caresheet for sling from this species, because I'm planning getting one it's a bit pricey though.

@eproxymous I give her lots of substrate to burrow, she has about 4-5 inches of sub and she dug to the bottom within a couple days of being rehoused. I keep the sub about three quarters moist and one quarter dry. I give her a water dish and a bark to burrow under and that's pretty much it! She is doing well so far.

@elysium Ow thanks for replying! Two last question do you mist it's enclosure every week? and put air holes for cross ventilation on the enclosure?

@eproxymous The enclosure I have has top ventilation as well as a ring of holes on the side, though I don't think that cross ventilation is absolutely necessary for this species as they do like it fairly moist. As long as there is ample air movement so that there is no mold developing inside, you should be fine.

I usually spray a bunch of water on the sides of the enclosure everywhere except for the burrow corner. Depending on your ventilation it may require more or less, but i aim for three quarters of the enclosure to be moist, not wet, with the burrow corner getting a light mist as well. I let it dry out for a week or two, until the top inch of sub gets fairly dry and then repeat again.

@elysium Okay then this is a big help for me still doing a few more research on this sp. I don't want to have an Expensive mistake on this one.
