Labeled as T. blondi

I went to the Miami Zoo. They had this Theraphosa. It was labeled as T. blondi. I am not familiar enough with Theraphosa to know if that is correct. It was an impressive spider regardless of the species.
Looks like a Theraphosa. Shame about the awful setup considering this genus is hard to breed

Looks like a T. stirmi, but I need to see a closer picture. But that is terrible substrate.

@Liquifin The only Zoo that I have seen use proper substrate for a tarantula was the Children's Zoo in Lincoln, NE. They had a B. hamorii on coco fiber.

Gotta love it when a place that's supposed to care for and inform/be informed about their animals are on a fast track to killing it. SMH. Poor thing looks stressed to high heaven and back.
