It molted again....
My O. violaceopes is easily the least visible T in my collection. I'd suspected that it had molted around a couple weeks ago, but only today did I actually find the molt it had crumpled up before tossing it out.
Imagine trying to sex that...lol
I actually did manage to recover and unwrap the abdomen (the molt was in pieces). Unfortunately, it was too small for me to try to sex (and my cell phone images came out too crappy to post here), and what I did see of it indicates this one is male....though I still can't be sure until it molts next,

I just set up an enclosure to rehouse this juvenile into and am regretting it, since if it turns out to be a male I'm going to have to rehome it in less than a year anyways.

You can get a macro lens that clips onto your phone on line pretty cheap they aren't brilliant but are good enough to be able to sex a moult at 2cm big especially if you put a defused light behind it, as your collection is getting bigger it may be worth getting one for future moults, it's what I use 😊

Well, that was me being too generous. Now the thing is one molt away from hooking out and I've found no takers wanting a stud to breed their female O. violaceopes with.
