@Ungoliant thank you, this is her first molt in my care. She looked more black before she molted but now the blue is very pronounced. I don’t think she’s ever looked brown.
Aphonopelma seemanni can be blue depending on locality and conditions kept. What is sold as Aphonopelma seemanni BCF is supposedly different from Aphonopelma seemanni and is Aphonopelma sp. Guatemala stripe leg.
The difference can be spotted most obviously in mature males. It can also be spotted if you look closely at the striping on the patella. Sp. Guatemala has narrower stripes. Seemanni thicker.
For example here you can see @Arachnophoric 's photo in the comment above appears to be sp. Guatemala. With noticably thinner striping on the patella in comparison to the OPs specimen which appears to be seemanni.
Also if you look at the example of supposed 'BCF' that @Ungoliant shared, it also has the thin striped patella which is indicative that it is actually Aphonopelma sp. guatemala
