Hello,
Was wondering if anyone can tell me what this "guy" is. It was sold to me as a "velvet birdeater" I can find little to no information on him and I want to make sure he is being taken care of correctly. "He" is approximately 4" thank you for your time.
And "he" is suposed to be female, but i can be wrong
Anyway, i can see adult coloration here already
Some ventral shots are welcome

@Cloud Chaser would love to give you a pic but she (lol) is mad at me. Stopped eating and hasn't been moving around so I'm guessing is getting ready to molt. Thank you so much for your input!!!

Can anyone give me any info on this T. Size, humidity, temp, already know the temperament (wow), lifespan blah blah blah

I have 2 Cyriopagopus sp. females. I keep them in 5.5 gallons with several inches of coconut fiber. A piece of cork back shoved into the substrate and a water dish. I wet the substrate when it gets dry, they like it humid. I like the 5.5 because I will not need to upgrade. They both took to the bark the first night and dug out a burrow underneath. It will hang out in the mouth of the cork back when hungry, which is not often. Mine are wild caught so I am not expecting them to live long.

@Matttoadman I have her in a 20 gallon tank and I keep it at around 70-80F and about that in humidity. I have 4" of coconut fiber in the tank with a hide and cork bark, water dish, blah blah blah. I'm I going overboard or is this all ok. I have only had her for about a month and she was eating great but now she is pouting, again I think she is gonna molt. So they only get to about 5.5"? Also I'm a little irritated that I was sold this T as something completely different than what they said
