pet shop ordered in a mexican red knee for me, i got the enclosure all set up. on friday when i got it they gave me this, and it looks nothing like a mexican red knee. the people in the pet shop don't know anything about tarantulas. i think it might be an A. seemanni...
Yes, it's an Aphonopelma seemanni. The tell is the orange spinnerets. Not a Mexican red knee (either Brachypelma hamorii or smithi), and not usually near the cost of one, either. If they charged you for a Brachypelma, then you likely overpaid for this specimen. It is a nice and healthy looking A. seemanni, though.

thank you so much!! i just wanted to double check and see what it was so i can care for it properly. but no i'm pretty sure i didn't overpay, it only cost me €35 which sounds pretty reasonable to me
