Given to me as a Greenbottle Blue - the red rump came through last moult now making me think B. vagans but it has had a blue tint up to this point which is still present on its legs. I was fairly certain it was a Cobalt until this last moult.
Kezy, are you REALLY asking whose is bigger?! :embarrassed:

Seriously, though, I will admit to some massive spider envy. This is a beautiful creature!

When we DO figure out what the wee beasties is, I totally want one!!! :astonished:

Im pretty convinced it is from the temperament etc too. Whatever it is i want more of them.

Just going to dig this grave up quick, as im having second thoughts on this ID.
This tarantula has molted once or twice since this picture and been given a more appropriate place to live than its little cricket tub. It also seems like its been swapped for a completely different tarantula now. Its brown, and completely different temperament. Where it used to slowly plod around like a cold Grammostola, its now active as hell, and should i get near the tank its on its back legs, fangs ready to go. It reacts twice as evil as my OBT. And it kills 4/5 meals and leaves them.
Ill get a picture too, and you can see what i mean by it looking like its from a different continent to the one in this first picture.
