again gender doesn't exist in spiders, recent popularity of the term seem to confuse people
you really want to know the sex of the spider sex = male or female, gender = how do you feel today

I see... I'm not too familiar with english terms. For a japanese person like me even simple sentence is hard to construct. Even so, I'm scertain I'm not so unclear. Even language enthusiast like you understood what I meant.

The diagonal legspan should be 4" If I could post a clearer photo, I would. But this one does indeed look like a female. Even so, I'm still unsure because of it's smaller frame.
I see, I'm glad you understand my situation. Most of my english grammar skills are self taught making it very crude. So I apologize for the grammatical errors I made.
Yes I do hope it's female, It does seem to have a gonoslit. But I'm inexperienced on ventral sexing, So I headed here to ask, for more clarity.

Yeah, that is a decent size, and by now i think a lot of male characteristics would show - so the chances of this being a male are small. I'd expect to see a spermathecae in the upcoming molt.

For the longest time i was just looking for the gonoslit in ventral sexing when the male characteristics are much clearer in many species. The Title of this Sexing category says it all: "epiandrous fusillae", if it was male i would expect to see them at that size especially on light coloured spiders like yours.
there are a few good souces to learn more about ventral sexing, even a quick google search turns up good examples like this one:
