They can take forever to molt if its not eating n doesnt show signs of stress id say anytime .intesad of checkin every day .check every other day on it .that way it helps u with patience and anxiety. Lol parents! I know i still feel the same way for my slings every molt!
@semmy juarez An oversized enclosure is fine as long as there is not excessive vertical space. I usually aim for about 3 times the tarantula's diagonal legspan (DLS) in any horizontal direction.
Ideally, the distance between the top of the substrate and the lid should be no more than 1.5 times the tarantula's DLS. (Falls from even a modest height can seriously injure or kill bulky terrestrial species.)
