Ive seen a lot of people keep young terrestrial tarantulas in containers like that (just be sure that the leg span of the tarantula is shorter than the container is tall when the bedding is filled in or the little one might try to escape when the lid is off and won't have proper room when the lit is on) Or even large jumping spiders as long as there is a lot of plants and hideaways for the little guy to snug into.
I once had my millipedes in a similar container, but they were also only around an inch to two inches long so they were little guys.
