Is this for a versicolor? I would think about turning it upside down and gluing the cork bark to the top of the container.

My Avics all went straight to the top no matter how I set up the enclosure. I found turning these amac boxes upside down made for really easy access.

I love these containers for slings of all types. So neat and organized and clear.

I prefer access to them at the top. I have tried it both ways and find it cumbersome to feed without access to them (i generally drop pinheads rite in the tube, avics love that ime)
