ID??
Can anyone id this tarantula at all? Was sold as a Brazilian Black but obviously isn't. It is quite a defensive spider,very fast and a very heavy webber
@CEC i think mix of diamantinensis localities already occured in hobby, sadly
similar, if not worse, thing with bolivianum, both mottai and camargorum were labeled, and some still are as bolivianum, and possibly already hybridized...while i dont know if there were any true bolivianum imported in the first place...
 
Diamantinensis no doubt here. On my end I can see greenish color across the entire abdomen, and no signs of a mirror patch.

This little fella doesn't resemble any of the E. sp. "insert locality/color" I've ever seen.
 
@letranger I certainly could be wrong and what you say could be the case, this is pic IDing and it always come with a grain of salt. What I only know of dcf is taught by Brazilian keepers, untainted by European mistakes.

@AphonopelmaTX I asked that myself & from what I hear, yes, they were keyed out but it is only hearsay, No articles to reference.
