Yeah, definitely no Psalmopoeus. @Stratton coloration actually IS a primary factor of IDing Ts, down to the minute detail of the coloration of setae on the legs of certain species. While it's true that coloration can dull out/experience some variation depending on what stage the T is at in the molting process, what you are stating to believe as fact is simply not true.

@RezonantVoid@Arthroverts The long wispy orange setae is an indicator this is an arboreal Ornithoctoninae... @Tcouple90 Omothymus* violaceopes, genus name was changed in 2015 by Smith and Jacobi and recently confirmed in another revision by Gabriel and Sherwood 2019.
