Again, old post, but here is more nonsense, as stated, H. hercules has and may never be available in the hobby, also, hercules does not possess stocky hind legs. It doesn't mean if someone sells a T labled as H. hercules that it IS hercules. I received a T labled P. Irminia and ended up with a Psalmopoeus hybrid. If ever you see a Hesterocrates "hercules" it's most likely (in most cases) a mislabled H. gigas or H. crassipes, or someone has little to no clue what they are selling, the misinformed or someone just wants to rip you off. Hercules do not exist in the hobby. What you do have in the hobby is H. gigas and H. crassipes (don't know about H. laticeps) . Again this michael guy seems to know awfully more than reputable dealers and breeders here on the boards. I really think some people should educate themselves before trying to identify and sex tarantulas.
