Hug time with H.Macq.
Hadronyche Macquariensis MM.

You can see the fangs dripping with venom
@wingedcoatl the other interesting thing is all funnelwebs have pretty varying venom ingredients, yet they all cause similar symptoms and are treatable with the same antivenom

Anyone know if a male is still usable with only one pedipalp? He is a wild catch and seems to have lost one of them

@Venom100 after a quick bit of research on A.Robustus, which dishes out an average of 176 milligrams of venom on a good envenomation (0.2mg/kg is the fatal dosage for Macaques, so I'd say for humans it'd be something like 0.4 or 0.5 maybe), these guys would on a guess dish out about 150mg or less. After a large amount of provoking I eventually got a full drop of venom off his fangs but normally they just rear up without dripping any. I'm pretty sure Atraxotoxin is unique to A.Robustus, so whatever the main component of these ones venom is, is probably a lot weaker and would need more venom to be released to cause a serious reaction
