Help! Is it dying
Re: spiders (or other animals) in the boot, NEVER, EVER. Spiders get the same temperatures you get. If someone in the car is afraid of them or you need to be discreet about their presence, put them in your purse or backpack so you can attend to any sharp environmental changes immediately. I wrap my plastic deli carriers or vials up in a snake bag and knot it just in case someone gets out, so that they're not loose in my backpack, but a plastic grocery bag or pillowcase will do the same service. She is absolutely beautiful! I've said a little prayer for your wee spider. And I'm from the Bible Belt...our prayers count double!

She/he's rehydrating. Many folks don't realize that a big part of suffering from cold is a result of dehydration. When I am going to have cold weather, the first thing I do is go out and water all of my delicate plants and spray their leaves. It's counterintuitive, but when you are cold, hydration is often step one toward a solution. If you doubt it, put lotion on your hands when they are cold some time and you will feel them warm up.

Tried to help her out of the water and she fell on her back. So I don’t think she is doing so great after all

i gently turned her back upright but I’m worried that she wasn’t able to turn over herself.

@Dovey she was in the boot but she was in a tub the tub was wrapped in a newspaper and put inside a Kritter keeper. I thought she would be well protected. But thinking about it. The shop didn’t put any paper towel in with her so maybe the journey was too rough
