6-7 inches in the back where the burrow is. 3-4 inches in the front. She is only 4 inches in legspan though, so its plenty for her!

Yes, absolutely. Mine seems to prefer webbing to digging anyway, and only moves dirt to occasionally relocate/rearrange the entrances to a shallow burrow under a hide. They really are an industrious species...
