This is really cool! If those are color changing, I'd recommend trying out red as well! Tarantulas can't see red light (http://www.americanarachnology.org/JoA_free/JoA_v17_n2/JoA_v17_p195.pdf) so they will think it's dark out and possibly be a bit more active
