@boina The molt isn't important since the spermatheca shape is a generic character of Grammostola. There are only a few exceptions in this genus where the spermatheca is used as a specific character and those species do not occur in Chile. Also, keeping the exuvia of adults allows you to build a reference collection of sorts and can be extremely valuable for these undescribed species. When description papers are published, you can go back and use the molts to key them to a species and update labels as needed. Of course when it comes to males, it is valuable to preserve them in alcohol when they die after the ultimate instar.
