Grammostola rosea.

Colorful one. ;)
I love these spiders. Especially since I got a rose hair, they're one of my favorite species now, which was a little unexpected for me. They're definitely not just the "pet rocks" that people claim they are.

I like them too but I'm a suspect, since I like the genus as a whole. Lol.

I also don't think they are "pet rocks" but, they can test your patience sometimes. Rate growth and too many months fasting can make people crazy. 😂

One thing I've always admired about them is that they're some of the most resilient creatures on this planet. The harsh environment that they live in, the ability to go without food for literally years, it amazes me. They're survivors and thrive in an environment where most animals would die within hours or days. I think it's amazingly cool.

Beautiful T but that's G. porteri not rosea
They were G. rosea in the past and the name change was made by a seller, without any scientifical evidence of them being G. porteri.

In fact, G. porteri might become nomen dubium, which basically means, their types material are lost, or aren't in good shape.

I love them, but my 20-year old G. porteri is the definition of a pet rock, haha. On very special days she turns around 180°. She's definitely interested whenever I fill the water dish though and suddenly turns very inquisitive. I love her!
