Grammostola pulchripes Mature Male
My little dude has been mature for 38 months and he is still going pretty strong.
You can certainly tell he's been around for some time, his carapace is completely naked!

How well does he eat? Love seeing stuff like this to show that males absolutely DO last longer than a year after maturity, depending on the species and how well they're maintained. Although you can only do so much if they stop eating.

@Arachnophoric His appetite has gone down the last couple of months, but he is still eating. He is looking very shopworn - like an old velour couch with the armrests rubbed shiny. Bless his little heart, I will miss him.

How old is he (if you know)? What is the approx dls? Interested because I have two of this species and was wondering what is in the future for them?

@Brachyfan He was about three years old and only about 4" when he matured September 16, 2016. I would say he is well over 6" now.
I'm doing a bit of guessing, because I didn't raise either of these from tiny spiderlings.
