Grammostola actaeon
Gorgeous, very active, and a great eater. Also surprisingly fast and loves to teleport around when disturbed. An all around wonderful T.
Will always go down as one of my top favourites ever. I adore my girl. Best appetite with the best happy dance to go along with it.

If you love this species, you need to get yourself a G.grossa. They are the same, except all black. A fluffier, more silvery, version of G.pulchra, but a lot faster growing. You definitely need one in your life.

I love my G.iheringi female as well, but she seems to be more reclusive than my actaeon and grossa are. I see less of her, but she is a favourite.
The difference between actaeon and iheringi is that actaeon lose their red abdomens as they get older and iheringi keep them.

I have a female, once yours hits about 4" the cherry red will go away. Turns into a rust, deep brick red for some.
