We need to see the inside of the moult in the area of the vent to know the sex . If the moult has dried out you can try soaking it in some warm water with a drop of dish soap in it soak for 5 to 10 mins gently dab with kitchen roll and use pins to open the the abdomen to see the bit you need at 2.5 inch you may need a macro lens though to be able to see clearly you can get them online for your phone pretty cheap. Hope I helped lol sorry I couldn't help with the sex though.
Oh youre fine! I remember seeing it much more clearly in person than when i took pictures. Molt was fresh and pliable. Phone pics are just really bad. Seem to remember trying to get the inside facing out and wetting it and also trying to position phone and it just wasnt working out for me!
Maybe i will come across it again on my molt shelf.
I am the same I have a molt box well several now haha I can never remember who's moult is in what box and I am bad at moult pics to my SO gets alot of bad pics with boy or girl attached
I am SO bad at pictures. I think theyre all beautiful then i send the pics.... yikes. Small molts are so darn difficult to focus in on. I'm fairly certain female from what i observed... but its bugging me not to have an experienced opinion.
This post is a really good example of what we need to see to determine gender from the molt. Note that the inside of the abdomen is exposed and the area between the anterior book lungs is clearly in focus. This is a female, so if your T looks like this inside, you've got a female, too.
Received this one a few months ago from a guy who more or less screwed me over with the rest of the Ts I bought from him. But it appears the joke's on him, because this was sold to me as a male. The molt says otherwise
@NMTs You have been so helpful today! I'm probably not going to sift through and find the molt i have the picture of. I'll wait for the next and hope its less of a disaster!
Ohhhh thank you! This is quite helpful! Theyre still so small and fragile, it is VERY hard to tell for sure just yet. Maybe next molt i can prepare and post clear pics.

Best of luck, but don't be too hard on yourself if you shred a molt or two. Happens to all of us .
If you have some old molts of specimens that have already had their sex confirmed, try and practice on those to get the hang of properly rehydrating the molt, learning how to "read" the tangled up skin (think of it liking trying to untangle a bunch of string), figuring out how best to reverse engineer the mess to get the skin splayed out and in tact, and finally learning to identify the spermatheca for the species in question (AB is a wealth of comparison pictures for this purpose).
