rescued this rose from a reptile dealer who had him in a damp arboreal home.. not 100% on species just deduced from what I know was just labeled as Chilean Rose Hair.
These guys like it dry, good save amigo. I've only got one T at the moment, and it's a G. porteri. I was hooked up with a lot of information through here that was really an interesting set of reading materials about G. rosea vs G. porteri. I'll go dig them up now and edit again
There's an ID me section on the media threads, if you want the help I put pics of mine up wednesday and that's where I got those links, and some members gave their opinions as well. That's the beauty of the boards, as long as you're willing to learn there is a weath of knowledge that has been accumulated :]
Same here, I've been raising my T for over two years, and any time I looked up advice during that time was always referred to these boards so I finally just joined up when I felt informed enough to ask my own questions. It's a great time we live in, to have access to all of this. I've learned a lot already just reading things people have already posted.
Edit: Really I joined up because I want to get into the hobby further by raising more than just the one and I want to make sure a) I'm properly taking care of this one before I do so and b) that I'll know what to do during the 1000 curve balls I'll have thrown at me during the excursion.
