G. Rosea? G. porteri? Something else? [2/2]

Pet store rescue 15 years ago. I asked them what she was and they said, “rose hair”... ok. Again I asked what species and they repeated rose hair that I was nuts. I gave up on that and took her home because she was in bad shape.

years later I still asking the same question. What is she?
Ignore the bad grammar. My computer is down and this is all typed from the phone with auto correct that usually makes things incorrect.

It is too much of a pain to go back and check everything.

@Drea I totally hear ya. I'm no scientist, although I like the science stuff, lol. So I have some researchers friends that explained all this mess to me. Tbh, at first, second, third, fourth, I didn't understood at all, lol.

Then I learned that I had to separate science from hobby first, try to learn about them as different (but similar) worlds to got all this chaos.

An advice that I can give you, though is:
If you have porteri, and want to breed them, only do it with someone that has a male named porteri too. Not rosea "NCF", not rosea "RCF", only porteri is viable, its the only way to kept them pure.

G@Kimora great comparison pictures. I have concluded that I have 3 G. porteri’s and 0 G rosea’s.

Still love them the same. Miss. Aragon in the picture has been with me for about 15 years so I may love her a little more. :)
